Silver Glen Springs (not so) hidden gem pumps 65M gallons/day of natural spring water. Originally a haven for manatees , is now a boaters playground. Local controversy is bubbling over its spring protection zone designation. “You don’t come to Astor except for 2 things: You’re either coming out to bass fish or you’re coming out to play in the springs.”
