Winterizing – b Too Chapter One Closes

Even though Barry said he could get us going by the end of the month, we decided to put the boat away for the winter. A couple of reasons:

– It was 32 degrees this morning
– It was 32 degrees early afternoon
– It was 32 degrees late afternoon
– The sun sets at 4:45 (when it is colder than 32 degrees)
– Did I mention that it was freaking cold out?

Barry helped us winterize the boat. So we will head back to California this week, where it is warmer than 32 degrees.

  1. Welcome back to your warm comfortable home in Balclutha One! In the winter, birds migrate south and in your case, west!

  2. So glad to welcome you back to sunny Marin! I’ve been thinking of you when seeing the morning weather reports. Hope to see you soon.
