The ‘evenings entertainment’ picture reminded me of watching children coming out of school next to Lago d’Orta in Italy, diving in for a swim and drying off on the platforms before (eventually) heading home. A different world. A better world. In the U.K. you would be arrested (for your own good…) for trying to swim in a lake (I kid you not).
