Double Crossed at Crossing
…despite double, triple checking multiple weather apps. First, we hit a mega squall 5 miles out – 30mph winds, pelting rain, 50 feet visibility, thunder and lightning, dogs sleeping with cats! Powered through that, then clear skies and smooth waters….until 10 pm. 4-5 foot swells slamming B2 bow on. B2 did great! We did not. 45 min shifts, barf, lay down, repeat for 9 hours. Rolled in 22 hours and 171 miles later. Recovering from PTSD, we took showers and a nap. Like labor, pain forgotten as we are smitten with this tank of a boat.

Wow…the crossing seems to have been as rigorous as you anticipated…glad to hear that B2 has taken such good care of you both.. I hope that Florida is good to you and the weather and seas are calm…
