River Angels
Ken & Cheryl Pfeiffer, Gold Loopers, rescued us in November 2022 as we limped into Grafton marina on 1 engine. Reconnecting with them at Grafton Pub we learned they recently plucked off a family of 3 paddling through Grafton offering them shelter from the storm. Lo & behold! We passed the canoeing family on the Mississippi exchanging pictures and accolades of our mutual River Angel friends.
You guys are too kind. We enjoyed our time together and wished it was longer. As for the family of 3 paddling the length of the Mississippi. They were a pleasure to host for the night as well. We will meetup with you. Someway, somewhere. We have never regretted offering our help to river folks.
